Skirts have been around for centuries. Since the decade of 1850 to around 1912, the ladies prefer, skirts, and that helped the waist looks slimmer and symbolizes wealth and a full skirt tied a lot of fabric. However, the bustle and petticoats that were needed to create the look soon became filled uncomfortable for the woman, who gradually abandoned the silhouette as the world moved toward its first major war. In 1947, fashion icon Christian Dior launched his first collection for spring / summer, which not only brought back the full skirt, but modernized to shorten the hem to mid-calf. While the world was reeling from World War II, women fell in love again with a narrow waist femininity and luxury of yards of fabric in a single garment. Dubbed the "New Look," the skirt became a staple of the 1950's, that began in the U.S. and resulted in the poodle skirt, which became popular among adolescents who experience the onset of rock and roll. The skirt is back full force to the fashion scene with the Men of popular TV drama Mad showed the glamour that comes with swishing skirts. Prada, Dries Van Noten and Louis Vuitton featured the flared silhouette in their Autumn Winter collections this year. Locally, full skirts Were seen on the catwalks for designers of Philippine Fashion Week Lyle Ibanez and Dave Ocampo. Jellybean has also functions as inspiration for the trend its holiday collection.

F21 really does have so many different styles of skirts to choose from - and they give different vibes from girly to more street chic cool. I love to pair mine with boots, tights and a sweater in colder months. Even though jeans are great - there's nothing like a skirt!!
